Away from the limelight and media attention of technology, the HTC presented today its newest addition to the fiscal-end smartphones: HTC Desire 400 . Phone appeared today on two regional sub-pages portal producer – Russian and Ukrainian. Interestingly, both point to a very different technical specifications. Here are the details.
HTC Desire 400 – specifications in Russia
From the first glance you can see that the HTC Desire is a typical hanger-400 that was supposed to compete for customers in a low shelf, trying to snatch a bit of money to Samsung and LG.
According to the Russian sub, the phone is equipped with a display diagonal of 4.3 inches and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Under the hood is to operate while the quad-core Snapdragon processor 400, clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. Additionally, many find is the 8MP camera matrix and LED flash, and the front 1.6 MP webcam. Inside you will find 4GB of built-in memory, expandable via a microSD card. The entire complement a battery with a capacity of 1800mAh, and a standard set of connectors, extended with dual SIM. Version of the system is unknown, although it will be a minimum of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the sake of said cap Sense 5 and BlinkFeed.
Ukrainian version
Surprisingly, the same phone on the Ukrainian sub-page looks a bit different. While the display on both the HTC Desire 400 is the same, the Ukrainians will only receive a dual-core Snapdragon processor 1GHz clock 200. On the housing will be a 5MP camera instead of 8, and a VGA webcam on the front. Slightly different dimensions are also housing. Common is a built-in memory, RAM, battery and dual SIM.
At this moment we do not know whether it’s only a mistake, or maybe HTC filed markets for the sake of wealth and the same phone (probably the same price) is clearly worse than in Ukrainians in Russia. If so, the Taiwanese manufacturer may lose a lot on the brand image.
