HTC using your account twitterowego confirmed that Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 is the last version of the operating system, which will go on smartphones One X and One X +.
British branch HTC has confirmed on Twitter that One X + does not get any more software updates, even though the market is present only been 14 months. One X + debuted in the market with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and so far only received a software update.
HTC have often been criticized for issuing devices to market with older versions of the software and for tardiness in publishing to update their software. The company apparently does not intend to continue to invest money in the development of devices already sold.
