Both screens have been hailed as very successful, even though they are completely different. One is LCD, the second – AMOLED.

On the other hand, used in the AMOLED Galaxy S 4 is incomparably superior in terms of contrast. This is due to the matrix AMOLED, which has deeper blacks than any LCD screen.
